Dr. Mitchell Ishmael

Dr. Ishmael received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Economics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Dr. Ishmael has experience designing, building, and effectively using experimental systems for high-precision measurements of material properties. He has synthesized phase change materials and surface chemistries for efficient and cost effective thermal energy storage.


Dr. Levon Atoyan

Dr. Atoyan received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. His work focused on characterization of high energy density plasmas relevant to the MagLIF fusion scheme and he is knowledgeable in and experienced with high voltage, high power transmission systems. As the president of Technology Entrepreneurship at Cornell, he has worked with high-tech startups to develop their commercial strategies.


Grady Iliff

Mr. Iliff received his B.S. from Virginia Tech in Engineering Science & Mechanics in 2017. He spent two years in the Boreyko Lab researching on the forefront of passive anti-frost surfaces.
